At Quiz Club we believe in being open and honest with our customers. So you won't find any tricky pricing hidden somewhere in our terms & conditions. In fact, we make it clear & simple as outlined below:

By joining Quiz Club you will receive:

Weekly Quiz Tips via WAP Download – 2 x $6.60 per week
Access to our weekly Members Quiz – FREE^*

We will also label each SMS received from us in the following manner: (Free Msg) This means the SMS received from us is 100% FREE of charge. This feature ensures our customer's are 100% satisfied and continue to be happy customers!

Functions

There are two main functions to operate the Quiz Club service:

GO — Send the word GO to 1999 2777 to Join the service or Start a NEW Free Quiz.
STOP — Send the word STOP to 1999 2777 to end the service and stop receiving messages.

Questions?

Q. I have received a Telemarketing call from Quiz Club, where did you get my number?: Your number was obtained by an Autodialler. You number does not belong to any list or database. Quiz Club will only call you once and will not call you again.
Q. I have received a Telemarketing call from Quiz Club. I did not give you permission to call me.: Before we called your number we checked it against the Australian Do Not Call register. If your number is NOT on the Do Not Call Register, we are then authorised to call you. We only make telemarketing calls to consumers that DO NOT appear on the Do Not Call Register.
Q. I have received a Telemarketing call from Quiz Club and I don't want to be called again.: That's fine. You will not be called again. We only call your number once. If you're not interested in the offer, simply hang up the phone and we will not call you again.
Q. I have received a Telemarketing call from Quiz Club, will I get billed for this call?: No, absolutely not. We have called you, therefore we actually pay for the phone call. In fact, if you play the Telephone Quiz and receive an SMS, that SMS is also FREE and you are under no obligation.
Q. I'm a winner! How will I receive my prize?: You will need to respond to the Winner SMS sent to you and include your Name & Address. We will then send you a Pre-Paid VISA card, charged with the amount you have won. Example: We will send you a Pre-Paid VISA with $250 if you win $250.; A Pre-Paid VISA card is NOT a normal credit card. Once you have used the amount of Credit on the card you can dispose of the card. You don't need to make repayments. Think of it as a Gift Card with Cash on it and accepted wherever VISA is accepted. Easy.
Q. When & How are winners announced?: Winners are announced at 11AM every Saturday morning via SMS. You will need to reply with your Name and Address within 24hrs to claim your prize. Once claimed your details will appear on the website in the Winners section. Please allow upto 28 days for your prize to arrive.
Q. I can't download my WAP Trivia Tip, what's wrong?: You need to have Mobile Internet enabled on your mobile. Please call you Mobile Carrier and ask them to setup/activate Mobile Internet on your handset.
Q. I've received an Error Msg: “Can't start quiz. Out of credit.”: FREE Quizzes are only available to Club Members who subscribe to the Weekly Trivia Tips. This error means you are out of Phone Credit. Please recharge your Phone Credit and the system will automatically restart your quiz within 24hrs.
Q. I've seen a similar SMS Services before, does Quiz Club really offer FREE Quizzes?: FREE Quizzes are only available to Club Members who subscribe to the Weekly Trivia Tips. Weekly subscription is only 2 x $6.60pw. We are NOT like other services that charge you $6.60 per message and DON'T deliver. At Quiz Club all messages are FREE except for your 1 x Weekly Trivia Content. So, have fun and enjoy. More winners, More often!
Q. I started a Quiz but didn't answer correctly, can I try again?: No, unfortunately. You only have one attempt per week at the FREE quiz. You will need to wait for another round to open the following week and try again.
Q. I started a Quiz and answered all correctly, but I didn't Win. Why?: Answering all the questions correctly only makes your entry eligible. You will also need to complete your Quiz in the fastest possible time to win the top prize. The Top 15 fastest eligible entries will win a prize.
Q. I've started my Quiz but I don't have time to finish it right now. Can I pause it?: No, unfortunately. Once you start a quiz there is no way of pausing or restarting. The quiz only takes about 5 minutes to complete. So grab a coffee and play the quiz when you have 5 mins to spare! Enjoy!

Q. How much does it cost to join/play Quiz Club?: By joining Quiz Club you will receive 1 x Trivia Content per week via SMS WAP link. You will need to click on the link in the SMS to download your Trivia Tip. You will also receive FREE access to a Weekly quiz and possibly WIN upto $5000 cash.
Q. Are all SMS from Quiz Club really FREE?: Yes, all text messages (except for the weekly Trivia Tip WAP link) will be sent to your mobile FREE of charge. We will also place a “(Free Msg)” note to every SMS we send to prove the message is FREE.
Q. How much does it cost to send an SMS to Quiz Club?: Sending an SMS to Quiz Club costs only 25 cents.

Joining, Playing & Stopping the Service

Q. How do I join the service?

Simply send the word GO to 1999 2777 to join the service.

Q. How do I start a FREE Quiz?

Once you have joined the service, you can start a FREE Quiz by sending the word GO to 1999 2777.

Q. How do I answer a Question?

Simply reply to the question with the correct answer. Example: Respond with the letter A or B or C or D or E.

Q. Can I re-take the Quiz during the same week?

No, unfortunately. You are only allowed to participate in 1 FREE quiz per week. You will need to wait 7 Days till you can send the word GO, and participate in a NEW free quiz.

Q. How do I respond to a Quiz question?

Simply reply to the SMS question with the letter A or B or C or D or E. Do not answer with the word YES or NO. You must respond to the SMS Question by it's corresponding multiple choice option.

Q. I started a Quiz but didn't answer correctly, can I try again?

No, unfortunately. You only have one attempt per week at the FREE quiz. You will need to wait 7 days and try again.

Q. I started a Quiz and answered all correctly, but I didn't Win. Why?

Q. How do I stop the service?:

You can end the service anytime by using the following methods:

Send the word STOP to 1999 2777 - Cost of sending SMS is 25cents. FREE to receive confirmation SMS.
Call 1300 767 306 - Call the number and follow the prompts to unsubscribe from the service. Cost of a local call.

Winning and Prizes

Q. I'm a winner! How will I receive my prize?: You will need to respond to the Winner SMS sent to you and include your Name & Address. We will then send you a Pre-Paid VISA card, charged with the amount you have won via Australia Post. Example: We will send you a Pre-Paid VISA with $250 if you win $250.; A Pre-Paid VISA card is NOT a normal credit card. Technical Enquiry

Q. I can't download my WAP Trivia Tip, what's wrong?: You need to have Mobile Internet enabled on your mobile. Please call you Mobile Carrier and ask them to setup/activate Mobile Internet on your handset.
Q. I've received an Error Msg: “Can't start quiz. Out of credit.”: FREE Quizzes are only available to Club Members who subscribe to the Weekly Trivia Tips. This error means you are out of Phone Credit. Please recharge your Phone Credit and the system will automatically restart your quiz within 24hrs.
Q. I want to change my Quiz Topic, how do I do this?: Unfortunately, once you have selected your Quiz Topic when joining, it cannot be changed again.
Q. How do I download my weekly Trivia Tip?: The Trivia Tip will be sent to your phone via a WAP Link SMS. Depending on your phone type you will need to look for the Trivia Tip in the Service Inbox or SMS Inbox of your Mobile Phone. Once you have located it, open the SMS and click on the link in the SMS. This will then allow you to download the Trivia Tip content.
Q. What is WAP? Do I need WAP?: WAP is mobile internet for your phone. You don't really need WAP to play the FREE quizzes, but you will need WAP to download your Trivia Tips. In short, WAP will allow you to FULLY utlilise the service, BUT it is not required to play the FREE quizzes or WIN the CASH!!!!; Please call your Mobile Phone carrier and ask them to setup WAP or Mobile Internet for you.
